Our Florida real estate course is accredited by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) and includes all 63 hours of education that's required to become a real estate agent. It's a complete package that will satisfy the requirement, give you the knowledge you need in your new career and prep you for passing the pre-license exam. Once you complete your 63-hour online Florida real estate course, you'll receive a certificate of completion and can continue with the application process. Here's a quick overview of the steps you'll need to take to get a Florida real estate license.

Steps to Getting Your Florida Real Estate License

1. You must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent to apply.
2. Complete the 63 hours of coursework based on the FREC I syllabus.
   • Pass the final exam with a score of 70% or higher.
3. Get your fingerprints and background check through an approved vendor.
   • Must be completed at least 5 days before you submit your application.
4. Submit the Application for Sales Associate License (DBPR RE 1).
5. Pass the Florida Licensing Exam with a score of 70% or higher.
   • The Florida real estate salesperson exam is administered by Pearson Vue.
6. Find an employing real estate broker and start working as a real estate agent!
